Love Me Do

Standing there on the stairway, right next to the Bethesda Fountain in the heart of the Central Park NYC, there was this couple. Oblivious to the crowd, being unseen from the public eye, they were there only for one another. This was not a chance capture.

The couple stood in a timeless transition of having those words being said, feeling the oneness. Is that love? Or is that just the typical New Yorker (whatever?)? Or a bit or a lot of both? Well, if you are both you would know :-) I just feel lucky to have captured this emotion through my lens. Of course I don’t know them but would love to have them have this capture – hopefully it is something that they would cherish forever!

Like the famous Beatles song – Love Me Do (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xuMwfUqJJM) goes, I think the  speecheless conversation between them did go something like this:

Love, love me do
You know I love you
I’ll always be true
So please, love me do
Whoa, love me do

Work for my new website is in progress…though far from over! Worked on customizing the theme…but still working through the ocean of images and creating the categories…hope to update this and release the version soon!

Adios till then!

Dubai Skyline

In cranes, dubai, photography, skyline, UAE on October 15, 2007 at 4:41 pm

The city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates is literally bristling with tower cranes; in fact, it is estimated that Dubai alone accounts for approximately one-fifth of the world’s fleet of tower cranes. Bolstered by rising petroleum revenues over recent years, Dubai’s construction boom continues unabated.

The picture below which I clicked on one hot August evening in 2006, bears testimony to the fact above.
